We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Keywords are the soul of SEO. Without keywords, there’s no way to optimize a site for search engines and hence, no SEO. That’s why the right keywords are so valuable, and why it’s so critical for you to seed your site with the perfect keywords to attract the attention of search engines and drive traffic to your site rather than to the other guy’s. To find the best and most effective keywords, you’ll need to start with the most effective keyword software. Here are some of the tools you should be considering using to generate premium keywords.

SEO Tools for Success

Posted by Craig | 22.01.10

The SEO world is a war. Everyone is fighting for those coveted spots in the search engine rankings, and if you’re not doing everything you can to climb to the top, someone else will. It’s sink or swim in the SEO world, and that’s why you’ve got to make full use of every tool available to you. One of the most important tools in maximizing your SEO potential comes in the form of analytics software.

The Federal Trade Commission’s revised regulations regarding advertisements and endorsements, although generally focused on celebrity and expert endorsements on television and radio, can have a very real impact on affiliate marketers, as blog and website endorsements do fall under the new rules. To avoid incurring liability, it’s important that you, as someone in the online marketing business, familiarize yourself with these rules, which can be found at:

Here are some excerpts from the new legislation, what they mean, and the impact they may have on you and your online marketing strategies:

Links are the nervous system of SEO. In order to get high search engine rankings and great traffic, you need lots and lots of inbound links. These not only bring traffic directly to your site, but it alerts search engines that yours is a site worth checking out. But all links are not created equal. Links from certain sites are just worth more than others. That’s why when setting up your website with an SEO plan, it’s so important to be incredibly thorough when developing your link neighborhood worksheet, your list of links you plan to target. Without the right link configuration, optimizing your website and individual web pages will be nearly impossible.
This is the final part of a three part series on optimizing your website to generate more traffic and convert them to more sales than you are doing now.  While Parts I and II dealt with professional copywriting and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and their contributions to increasing traffic and sales, this part addresses what you will look at after your content is secured, specifically, custom website development and design that you can afford, designed for maximum SEO and ROI (Return on Investment).

This is part two in a three part series on optimizing your website to generate more traffic and convert them to more sales than you are doing now.  If you read Part I, you already understand the importance of professional copywriting in order to boost Internet marketing success. If you didn’t, here’s a very brief refresher.

Importance of Professional Copywriting

“Content is King” in the Internet marketing world, meaning that at its core, the ability of your website to generate traffic and convert that traffic into sales is dependent upon having quality content. Quality content means content written by a professional copywriter, so that it is highly readable, full of energy, marketing-oriented and has optimal SEO. This last part will be the topic of this optimal conversions discussion.

The Value of SEO

SEO is of course, Search Engine Optimization, and it means editing your website content so that it will appear more attractive to search engines and make it more likely that your site will appear on the first page of a Search engine query. These SERP (Search Engine Result Page) rankings are your life as someone who relies on Internet marketing, as better search engine results means more traffic and more traffic means more potential conversions.

This is part one in a three part series on optimizing your website to generate more traffic and convert them to more sales than you are doing now. If you’re in virtually any kind of business, it should be clear by now that if you don’t have a web presence, other competitors in your market are going to leave you far behind. But having a web presence isn’t nearly enough.

We’re always looking for new ways to climb to the top of that SERP (Search Engine Results Page) ladder. In any competitive market, there can be literally millions of websites, so it’s not easy. However, you need to be aware that in the new era of Universal Search, there’s a shortcut, a way to leapfrog all those other sites and get you near the top where you belong.

The holidays are fast approaching, and many companies may not have tailored their SEO yet to meet the demands of the season. For those who sell a product or multiple products, and for many who sell services as well, Black Friday, the Friday after Thanksgiving, is D-Day. Which makes CyberMonday, the Monday following Black Friday and the ceremonial start of the online holiday shopping season, e-Day. These are the biggest shopping days of the year, when stores go all out to make deals that will draw in the most shoppers, and you want as many of those shoppers to stay home and buy from your website instead of heading out to the malls. Here are some last minute tips to help you reach your Holiday SEO goals.
